We're a current sister company to Arizona Ultralight Aviation, a business started by Curtis Carlson and H.L. Cooper over 30 years ago. H.L. was a BFI at the time, and had a dream that Curtis believed in. Curtis (a student and backer) helped provide the means to create "The Ultralight Strip" (4AZ8), and Arizona Ultralight Aviation by going into business together.
Arizona Ultralight Aviation was formed in the hay day of "Ultralights" and has since transformed to Light Sport aviation. With over 300 days a year of flyable weather, we're in the perfect area for aviation. Owner H.L. Cooper has nearly 20,000 hours just in Ultralights and Light Sport aircraft (flying recreationally and instruction), Arizona Ultralight is one of the longest operating airports and business specializing in Light Aircraft and instruction.
Arizona Ultralight offers shaded tie downs for aircraft, maintenance, and instruction in (mostly) anything Light Sport related. Arizona Ultralight uses an Aerotrek A240, one of the best SLSA's on the market for flight training.

Cooper Aircraft Corporation was created by Casey Cooper to provide support and components to the aviation community in a specialized fashion. Having been very fortunate to be brought up at The Ultralight Strip, Casey has been involved with "Ultralight" aircraft since he was born. His first flight with H.L. on his first birthday in a Quicksilver Sprint 2, was the beginning of a furture life-long adventure with aviation. The ongoing joke when Casey was growing up was that he had more hours than any of the pilots at the airpark. Having inherited the passion for light aviation, Casey is continuing that passion while looking to the future.
